Young People
The Practice is proud to have been awarded an eefo kite mark. This is a
health-based initiative to reduce health inequalities for young people aged 13
to 19 in Cornwall. For more information you can access the eefo web site on
What does this mean?
We are happy to see and treat young people including those under sixteen years old without their
parents permission if we are satisfied they are able to understand the
consequences. This Practice believes that everyone has the right to
confidentiality; you can be sure that anything you discuss with any member of
this Practice - doctor, nurse or receptionist - will stay confidential. Only in
exceptional circumstances, such as if someone is in physical danger, would we
possibly pass on information to a third party (and then only after discussion
with the patient).
If you have been referred to this site by eefo, let us know
when you contact us as this will help us to tailor our service to your needs.
