Dr Paul Davoren MB BS (Imperial College School of Medicine)
2000, MRCGP

Having grown up in the South-East of England, I studied medicine at the
Charing Cross Hospital in London. My first job was in London, but apart from a
short stint in A&E in Swansea, the rest of my medical career has been in
beautiful Cornwall.
I spent four years at the Royal Cornwall Hospital before training as a GP in
Perranporth where I stayed to work as a GP for the last five years. I am
delighted to join the team at The Falmouth Health Centre as a partner from
February 2011.
I do harbour a special interest in rheumatological medicine, however for me it
is the purely general nature of General Practice that has drawn me into this
career path. Being a good family doctor requires honesty, patience, and an
holistic approach, and as a job it can be tremendously satisfying.
I live with my wife near the North Cornish coast, and outside work I enjoy
various activities that get me out into the fresh air including cycling,
walking, climbing and fishing (though I cannot confess to ever catching many
fish!). I also very keen on
landscape photography.
