Patient Participation Group
Since 2019 the four GP practices in Falmouth and Penryn have been meeting regularly and collaborating on projects. We work together as a Primary Care Network to build on existing services and to improve provision of healthcare for our community.

The four practices would like to run a quarterly ‘Falmouth and Penryn Integrated Care Forum (FPICF)’ in which we can discuss some of the wider issues affecting health in Falmouth, Penryn and the surrounding areas. There will be an opportunity to discuss some of the projects that the PCN is working on which currently include a new mental health hub and increasing support of our care homes. We will invite other local stakeholders to attend the meeting such as councillors, representatives from the voluntary sector and Cornwall Partnership Foundation Trust. Incorporated into these new forums will be break-out sessions with individual practice representatives so that you can continue to have an opportunity to share your experiences and ideas for improvement of your own surgeries.

The meetings will initially be run online, most likely on Zoom. If you would like to be a member of the Falmouth and Penryn Integrated Care Forum please email Marcus.Kay@nhs.net our PCN Strategic Manager with your name, contact details, occupation, age and surgery name. If you know of any other people in the community that may be interested in joining, please feel free to share this letter with them and ask them to contact Marcus. In order to send out the online meeting invitations on Microsoft Teams or Zoom, we may need to share your email address with other attendees. Please confirm if you are happy for us to do this.
